I. A fresh start
Well hello there, and welcome, to customers, friends, and new readers. I just wanted to jump on here and express my excitement about the launch of Natch’s brand spanking new website!
Our mission here at Natch Generation is to connect our customers with nature’s bounty, as well as to minimize our impact on the planet we depend on. What does that mean? Well, it means always learning, always growing.
As a chartered herbalist and aromatherapist myself, I’m always eager to learn and grow; new ideas, new ingredients, new opportunities, and this new website is a reflection of that philosophy. You can now expect an improved user experience, more resources, and updated branding, to make your Natch experience easy, informative, and most of all, enjoyable!
II. So what’s new, Shawna?
Sooo much. But let’s keep it to the highlights :))
Our updated branding colours organize the HOME page into sections for easier readability. It’s simpler than ever to learn about Slow Skin Care and jump directly to our products. Read our mission statement, see which ingredients we avoid, then hop over to our ABOUT section to learn a bit more about me!
On a Desktop computer, our social icons are permanently along the left margin of every page, and on Mobile they’re always in the bottom toolbar along with the email and phone buttons. Our socials are a great way to keep up-to-date with what’s going on here at Natch, so definitely follow us on Instagram and Facebook if you haven't already. I'm very excited about some new content we’re rolling out this year.
Our footer now contains additional pages, including our Store Policy, and an FAQ section with lots of great info. And speaking of new info, our brand new JOURNAL section is where it’s at! It’s the perfect place to help inform visitors about our ingredients and products, so check back often to see what’s new.
III. Our new + improved SHOP and JOURNAL pages
Okay, let’s get right down to it.
SHOP page:
Along the left side you’ll find the Filter by area. Tap on any of the product categories: serums + tonics, soaps + deodorants, whips + balms, and narrow your search to whichever Slow Beauty solution you’re curious about that day.
If you’re shopping for gifts or to a certain budget, tap the + sign to open up the Price section, plug in a range of prices, and shop that way!
JOURNAL page:
Our Journal section already has a post all about one of our most popular products; Shower Steamers. We’re hoping to provide more informational content like that, and to answer the internet’s burning questions about all the natural ingredients we use here at Natch. But the truth is, I don’t really know what shape the Journal page is going to take yet! I’m always talking to customers at Natch Central, learning from them and understanding what’s important to their skin and health goals, so the Journal section will always be changing and evolving, just like Natch!
In the meantime, I’d looove to hear from you in the comments of this post. Tell me what you’d like to learn about. Kokum butter benefits? Wildcrafting? Natural ingredients in your area? Running a small business in Downtown Paris, Ontario? What it’s like to be such a cool, fun business owner + mom + wife + woman about town? (I’m definitely an expert on that last one.)

IV. How to navigate the new website
It couldn’t be simpler. The search bar is up top. Type in whatever you're interested in that day.
And if you get stuck, or can’t find an answer to your question, tap the green chat icon in the bottom right of any page. See it down there now? Practically begging for you to tap it and start a chat? Give it a whirl!

Natch has officially been in business since 2017, but our first brick-and-mortar location at 31 Mechanic St., in Paris, Ontario just opened in August of 2023. That wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our wonderful customers.
It’s part of Natch’s mission to make your Slow Beauty journey seamless and enjoyable, and I hope the new improvements to natchgeneration.ca will help in achieving that goal. I’m so excited to meet you all in person at the shop, but for those too far away to pay a visit, I hope you find the new site inviting, informative, and easy to use.
